1956 Individuals Showcases Conversational Access to History at Museums + Heritage Show 2026
PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
20 May 2026
London, UK - At Museums + Heritage Show 2026, held at Olympia London on 13 - 14 May, SKC Studios showcased 1956 Individuals, its flagship conversational AI platform. The team demonstrated how conversational AI Avatars are being deployed to transform interpretation, engagement and visitor experience across museums, heritage sites and cultural destinations.

Designed for real-world heritage environments, 1956 Individuals enables institutions to offer conversational access to information. Through interactive, real-time exchanges, visitors can access history and culture in a more personalised, intuitive and memorable way, shaping their own journeys.
Meeting the Needs of Modern Heritage Spaces
As visitor expectations continue to evolve, museums and heritage organisations are rethinking how information is shared across complex physical spaces. 1956 Individuals supports this shift through scalable AI avatars that assist with wayfinding, enable multilingual access, provide ticketing support, and engage visitors naturally throughout their visit.
Built with responsible governance and approved content frameworks, each avatar acts as an interpretive guide, carrying story, context and institutional knowledge, while responding dynamically to visitor questions in real-time.
Stand Focus: AI Queen Eleanor of Castile at Leeds Castle
The main showcase on the stand was AI Queen Eleanor; the interactive historical avatar created for Leeds Castle as part of its Pilgrimage of Love exhibition. Now live and engaging real audiences on site, the avatar served as a practical demonstration of how iconic historical figures can be represented responsibly and credibly. 1956 Individuals is redefining visitor experiences through ‘Information you can talk to’ ®.

Visitors were invited to stand presentations across both days on how AI Queen Eleanor supports historical interpretation, deepens visitor engagement, and makes medieval history more accessible and relevant to contemporary audiences. The showcase also highlighted insight into the creative and curatorial process behind the project, shaped through close collaboration with historians and heritage professionals. A special showcase presentation on the main stage, alongside historians from Leeds Castle, reinforced the project’s curatorial credibility.
Kelly Boosey, Business Development UK & Europe of 1956 Individuals, said:
“We are seeing growing demand from museums and heritage organisations looking for practical ways to modernise visitor engagement without compromising historical integrity. What is resonating strongly is the ability to create experiences that are multilingual, interactive, and scalable, while still grounded in approved and accurate information. 1956 Individuals is a platform that is helping organisations bridge the gap between traditional interpretation and the expectations of modern audiences in a way that is operationally viable and ready for real-world deployment.”
Babita Devi, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of 1956 Individuals, said:
“At SKC Studios, we believe the future of engagement is conversational. Audiences no longer want passive access to information; they want experiences that respond, adapt, and invite participation. Through 1956 Individuals, we are creating a new category of interaction built around ‘information you can talk to®’ where trusted knowledge becomes accessible through natural conversation. For cultural organisations, this is about far more than technology. It is about unlocking deeper human connection to stories, history, and knowledge in ways that are inclusive, emotionally engaging, and designed for the next generation of visitors.”
